Originally designed by Nathan Clark of Clarks shoes in the 1940’s the desert boot was worn by the Mods in in England, the art student in Paris and the beatniks in America. The boot is known for it’s comfort and versatility with a minimalist design of two sets of eyelets, crepe sole and made of leather.
The Clarks desert boot has come a long way over the years, once worn by off duty army officers to the legendary Steve McQueen. Over the years, the style has been copied and revised by a considerable amount of shoe and fashion brands. With that being said, Clarks has and always will be the choice amongst many. An inexpensive, yet durable and comfortable boot that can be worn for miles non-stop.
